Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

We only collect the data necessary for the application to function and improve:

• Registration data: name, email, and password (or data provided by Google/Apple Sign In);
• Profile picture: optional, provided by the user or imported from the Google/Apple account;
• Progress data: answers to questions, practice streak, completed sessions, and daily goal;
• Device data: push notification token and timezone;
• Subscription data: plan type and validity, processed by Apple/Google and RevenueCat;
• Usage data (analytics): anonymous interaction events with the application (screens visited, actions taken, sessions completed) associated with an internal user identifier (UUID). We never send your name, full email, or profile picture to analytics services.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and personalize the study experience;
• Save your progress and statistics;
• Send practice reminder notifications (configurable);
• Manage your Premium subscription;
• Improve the application based on aggregated and anonymous data.

3. Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (cloud infrastructure). Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. Communication between the application and the servers is protected by TLS/HTTPS encryption.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be processed by the following infrastructure providers, exclusively for service operation:

• Supabase: database and authentication;
• RevenueCat: subscription management;
• Expo (Expo Push Service): push notification delivery;
• Apple/Google: social authentication and payment processing;
• Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc., USA): anonymous app usage analytics. Receives only your internal identifier (UUID), approximate country, and interaction data — never your name, full email, or profile picture. The data is used solely to understand which features need improvement;
• Resend (Resend, Inc., USA): transactional email delivery (including the re-engagement email described in section 6). Receives only your email address and the email content — no other data is shared;
• Tally (Tally Forms B.V., Netherlands): feedback form used in the re-engagement email. Receives only your internal identifier (UUID, via a hidden field) and your form answers. You choose whether to respond.

5. Your Rights

In accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018) and equivalent international regulations, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data;
• Correct incomplete or outdated data;
• Request deletion of your data;
• Withdraw consent for data processing;
• Request data portability.

6. Push Notifications and Transactional Emails

DailyVet may send push notifications to remind you to practice. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the application or device settings.

We may also send occasional transactional emails — for example, a re-engagement email if you go 12 or more days without using the app, asking about the reason for your pause and offering 15 days of free Premium in exchange for your feedback. These emails are sent at most once per user. To stop receiving them, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or contact us at dailyvetapp@gmail.com.

7. Minors

DailyVet is intended for users who are at least 14 years of age. We do not intentionally collect data from minors under 14. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor under 14, we will delete such data immediately.

8. Cookies, Tracking, and Advertising

DailyVet does not use cookies, cross-app tracking, or advertising tools. We do not display ads and do not request the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because we do not perform such tracking.

We use anonymous usage analytics (Mixpanel) only to understand how the application is used and prioritize improvements, as described in Section 4. This data is not shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. We recommend that you review it regularly. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notification.
